The featured images in the catalogue blend tradition with innovation and are rich with cultural meaning, exploring pre-Columbian art, mythology, worldviews, ceremonies and rituals, and storytelling.

A collection of cartoneras, curated for the CODEX book fair! These recently-published works largely feature avant-garde, taboo, polarizing, or unusual subjects, staying true to the original intent of the cartoneras publishing movement, which began in Argentina during the 2001 economic crisis as a way to promote the democratization of literature and community-led book creation.
