Bolaños Geyer, Alejandro.

Nicaragua: The author, 1976. 1st ed. 148 p., photos, ilus., index, bibl., wrps. Very Good Paperback A landmark study of Clinton Rollins, an invented character under whose names several lengthy articles appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle which were supposedly reminiscences of William Walker's imperialist forays in Nicaragua. Geyer's work exposed these as fraudulent after five years of extensive research. Work published under Rollins' name would have a great influence on poets, scholars and writers, particularly Ernesto Cardenal (Item ID: 162062)
