The author narrates his travels through Portugal and northern Spain, observing and commenting on political and social issues that he deemed relevant to England's relationship with the Iberian peninsula. Leather and marbled boards, spine outer hinge wear though appears to be repaired and is quite tight. The Hirsel Library Bookplate. Volume two shows more wear than the first. Volume one is in fine cndition, volume two is only in good condition with wear to the marbled paper on the cover, possible moisture damage, seperation of the cover from the spine has been repaired.
