In "Amor y anarquismo" author Laura Fernández Cordero explores the history of free love in Argetina through the ideology of anarchism and its struggle to transform economic and political relations, as well as family and other personal relationships. The militants sought the end of marriage, which they saw as a form of prostitution and slavery, and imagined a free love in which men and women explored multiple, simultaneous relationships operating consensually. The work exposes the enormous power as well as the contradictions of these expressions, given that abortion or homosexuality were also considered excesses to avoid.
