The present study pursues the following objectives: To study the morphogenesis and evolution of network cities to understand the processes of evolution of the social and physical space, the processes of integration or differentiation of the urban spaces that arise and the representations of these urban entities in the imaginary of its inhabitants. This mainly through three strategies, namely: Analyze the evolution of the social and physical space in the context of the emergence of network cities through bibliographic and newspaper studies on these lines of research, analyze the degree of cohesion or fragmentation in the actuality of the spaces that constitute these urban entities and analyze how a regional city-network is lived and imagined by its inhabitants, by studying the dominant, resistance, latent and manifest imaginary in the studied environments, as well as tracking the origins and development of the imaginary, to characterize them against the lived space.
