The author accompanied Monsignor Ragonesi and other important personalities travelling from Bogota, through Tunja, Pamplona and several other important Colombian towns in 1907. Eduardo Posada 1862-1942 was a prolific Colombian Historian. Francesco Ragonesi was Arzobispo titular de Myra, apostolic delegate in Colombia, nuncio apostólico in Spain and became a Cardenal in 1926.
