The VI International Meeting of Living Arts - MITAV 10 years in Bogotá and the I International Meeting of Living Arts in Barranquilla jointly address and problematize the figures of Carnival and Canibalia, as two axial figures of this VI cohort of MITAV in Bogotá and of the I Cohort of the MITAV - Caribbean in Barranquilla. The two meetings coincide with the presentation and public support of thirty-seven master's theses from the two cohorts, with days of theoretical reflection and conversations by national and international guests, who participated as speakers and juries.
Within the framework of this anniversary, MITAV wishes to recognize and congratulate the pioneering work of the group of professors who started this project in 2017: Heidi Abderhalden, Adriana Urrea, José Alejandro Restrepo and Víctor Viviescas, as well as professors Jaidy Díaz, Paolo Vignolo and Francisco Montaña, who were later linked.
